About Us

What is Continuing Education (CE)?

Continuing Education (CE) in the College of Arts and Sciences offers professional development, non-credit and non-degree granting classes, programs and learning opportunities.

Our goal is to provide you with educational opportunities that will focus upon current trends, are compact, just-in-time training and fit your busy schedule. CE courses provide you with the tools and learning objectives you need in non-credit formats (online, short-term course, workshops, conferences).

Program Ideas and Instructor Opportunities

We are currently accepting program and course ideas, proposals, outlines and instructor ideas for teaching opportunities (non-credit/professional development).

CE program proposals under consideration include:

  • Professional development workshops and trainings
  • Online and in-person classes or workshops
  • Opportunities that fall under the categories within the College of Arts and Sciences: Departments and Programs »

Instructors and trainers should email their information along with a CE program proposal to ce.cas@buffalo.edu. If there are any questions, please contact Jay Stockslader, director of continuing education.
